Delete your TrustPG account
For the TrustPG and TrustPG Manager apps and www.trustpg.ai, published by ainexushub.ai. You can ask at any time, even if you cannot sign in or no longer have the app.
What happens after you ask
- You get a reference number (it looks like DR-123). Keep it. In the app it is shown on screen; by email we send it in our reply.
- Your account is closed straight away. You are signed out on every device and nobody can use the account. We confirm by notification and email, with the date your 30-day restore window ends.
- For 30 days you can change your mind. Sign in with your mobile number and ask us to restore the account, or write to support@trustpg.ai quoting your reference.
- When the 30 days end, our team erases your data across your account, stays, messages, listings, files and notifications. A second team member checks the erasure before it runs.
- We email you when it is done, listing what was erased and anything we had to keep, with the reason. After this it cannot be undone.
What is erased
- Your name, mobile number, email, address, photo and ID numbers.
- Aadhaar and PAN verification records, sign-in history, sessions and past passwords.
- Your preferences, saved searches, saved filters, favourites and reminders.
- Messages you wrote, and assistant replies in your own chats.
- Your live listings (taken off the site) and flatmate posts (closed).
- Your name and contact details on visit bookings and on enquiries you sent to owners.
- Identity, KYC and other files you uploaded.
- Your details as a resident: contact, ID, address, guardian and emergency contact, repair requests, meal comments and vehicles.
- Your notification settings and schedules.
What we keep, why, and for how long
Some records must be kept by law or to protect other people. Where we can, we remove your name from them.
- Payments, plans bought, rent dues and their GST: money records, kept for 8 financial years (Companies Act s.128(5), CGST Act s.36).
- Signed agreements, invoices, receipts and deeds: evidence for the other party and money records, kept for 8 financial years. Your name is removed from them.
- Agreements where you were the landlord: your business records, kept for 8 financial years for tax.
- Stays (which PG, room and dates): the PG owner's record of who stayed when. Your personal details on it are erased.
- Listings already let or sold: already off the site, kept as the record of a completed deal.
- Messages other people wrote to you: those are their words. Your own messages in the same chats are erased.
- Support requests and complaints: kept for 3 years after they close.
- Security log of your account: kept for 1 year (CERT-In).
- Your consent records and cookie choices: evidence that your data was used lawfully. They name only the account number.
- Safety actions our team took on the account: so a banned account cannot simply come back.
- Your deletion request and its receipt: kept for 3 years as proof the erasure was done.
Kept records are used for no other purpose. More in our Privacy Policy.
Before you delete
- Living in a PG: deleting your account does not end your stay or clear rent you owe. Settle these with your PG owner first.
- PG owners and managers: your live listings are taken off the site when your data is erased, and tenants can no longer reach you through TrustPG.
- Paid plans: a plan stops renewing once your account is closed. Payment records are kept as described above.
